Apartment Review for Village Of Yorkshire Apartments - Denver, CO

That's right, me and my wife have been manipulated by the manager on several occassions. From when we moved in, and signed the most restrictive, & rights removing lease contract we had ever seen. To when we were mislead that our apartment would have new carpet. To when the manager called my wife, attempting to play her against me, then ultimately punishing both of us. Making crude comments to me such as "you sound unhappy, why don't you just leave.." as well as, "A neighbor told me....". She lies about neighbor complaints, as justification to look into your home. I think 5 inspections in a year and a half. My wife cought here way out of her way, checking on her at the job on several occassions. Also the lack of a fridge for the entire first summer we were there. Asbestos ceilings, asbestos tiles, crummy everything in the kitchen. Overflowing, inadequate trash service, pooping dogs everywhere. A swamp that breeds mosquitos & very bad smells year round. Don't get me started on the violations of the 4th, as the manager calls the police on her residents, with an alarmist attitude, whenever residents are not acceptant of her crude & rude behavior. She literally walked right into my apartment, and then called the police on me, when I told her to schedule an inspection. An illegal search where I dealt with the cops for an hour ensued, until they finally went away. Even called the fire truck out, as an excuse to force their way into my home. Kathy: "City services are for the benefit of us all, not just you. Your managment tactics are childish, not straightforward, and have lent you a bad reputation from every resident I have spoken with about you." The guy who lives below the manager tells me it's like "a stampeed on the roof". Good luck finding quality of life there.....
