Apartment Review for Thornton Ridge Townhomes Mac Mgmt - Denver, CO

We lived here a little under two years. When we were able to buy a house we moved out. After being out of the house for a couple of months we got a letter from their lawyers trying to collect 900.00 for cleaning and carpet replacement. We have asked for proof when the carpet was replaced before we moved in and all they send us is a copy of the lease. We know the person before us lived there about three years and we were there about 2 years. The life span of rental carpet is usually 5 years. I think this is the cost of doing business. Now after 8 months has gone by we received a summons in the for $899.00. We did not want to take this to court so we offered to make payments now their lawyer is trying to charge us $1400.00 when the summons is for 899.00. Bottom line is they are not a place to recommend living. They almost seemed mad that we bought our own place.
