Apartment Review
I'd rather live under a bridge!!!!!

Where do I begin? The management here is a joke! If you have any kind of problem they give you the usual, "we'll get right on it" bit and NOTHING gets taken care of, or if they do send someone, it gets done half assed. Bugs are everywhere, when the city people came to spray it turned into a fiasco. The "management" gave tenants a one day notice to get their apartments ready (move furniture, bag clothes, make arrangements to be out during specified hours, etc.) and if this deadline wasn't met tenants were going to incur an $85 fee. If you happened to be out of town like I was, it was tough sh!t. I went to complain, and they told me that the pest control people hadn't arrived yet, and to "hurry and get what i could taken care of". Are you kidding me? That's just the beginning... I signed up for an apartment with air conditioning, which they assured me would be in good working order. They ended up delaying my move in date because they "forgot" to clean up the place, then the apartment didn't have any air conditioning because the wiring wouldn't be ab;e to facilitate the amperage required from the ac unit. I'm now in the process of getting the fdire dept. involved to see if this place is even meets electrical code. Oh, and not to mention the two stabbings that have occurred while I've lived here. The elevator seems to never work and always smells of urine. The hallways look like a slum, and the beer bottles and trash just top it off making it look like a true dump. Parking and security are a joke, I've been required to pay $15 a month to park in the gates of the complex, but for grins never put up my parking sticker. I've never been towed! Milking the tenants for whatever they can get. Their advertisement on Rent.com lists the "fitness center" as state of the art. What a crock! It's very small and all of the equipment is run-down at best. DO NOT RENT HERE! If you do, invest in bug traps and bug spray!
