Apartment Review for Stone Creek Village - Denver, CO

My wife and I moved into these apartments 4W237 in December of 2007 and lived there until July. We moved out on the last day of July after new management took over. Old management could only be classified as slum lords. New management can only be classified as crooks. We were never late on our rent. We had just signed a new lease with the old management before new management took over. New management refused to honor our lease. We attempted to sign a new lease with them once, only to stop mid process when I realized the apartment was the wrong one. I was told that we would be called when the new lease was ready. After about a week we started getting threatening letters from management about late fees and the like. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CALL US! We decided then and there that we were not going to stay there because these bastards only want your money and don't care about you. The unreasonable high fees were a red flag, and the refusal to honor the lease we had aready signed. All our rent was paid when we left and we turned in our keys. Mind you, we had still NOT signed a lease with these people. Just a few days ago, in my PO Box in Little Rock, Arkansas where we live now, I got a letter from the ass holes saying I owe them $2900!!! WTF'!' I don't think so. I hope they send this to collections because I would like to see them collect without a signed lease! DON'T MOVE HERE! DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE. STAY AWAY FROM STONE CREEK VILLAGE APARTMENTS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
