Despite assurances by the management company (Legacy Partners), the Retreat at Fox Hollow in Lakewood, Colorado that renters are qualified with background searches, crime in the development continues to be a problem. There is no security patrol, office staff only care if your late with the rent, nothing more. Noise is also a problem as you can hear everything (and I mean everything) your neighbors are doing. Drug dealing and use are rampant, several units have been deemed "Unfit for human habitation" as a result of meth labs operations; yet management promotes the Retreat at Follow Hollow as luxury apartment home. Buyer beware, never rent on the first floor, watch where you walk as dog poo is everywhere. The property is quite dated and generally in disrepair. Watch out for the extra fees on just about everything. Counting the days until my lease is up.
