Apartment Review
Not worth it.
Review Date: 5/30/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
I've lived at this complex (Currently called Water's Edge, previously Peachtree Too) for 3 years. My lease has ended and I've never been happier. First, Biggest issue for me. I am homosexual, so is my partner. The staff was very homophobic and nasty towards us. Second, Maintenance is terrible. I went for 2 months without a stove. They had one in stock, they just didn't make an effort to get it over to me. Third, the carpet was due to be replace when I moved in 3 years ago, It wasn't. The carpet that's there is 10, yes TEN YEARS OLD, filthy, and we're being charged $600+ so they can replace it. Fourth, Security is terrible. My partners car was broken into three times, along with many other peoples. Management didn't care. Finally, for the last 9 months of my residence there, the neighbor above me had a dog that barked form 8am - 6pm every day except the weekends. It took police intervention and several complaints to corporate to correct this. Although they corrected it 8 and 1/2 months after it was filed. Avoid these apartments, avoid Carmel Partners. You'll thank yourself later. |
