Great Team Here - Unfortunately they most just lef
Review Date: 5/13/2007 Reviewer: Anonymous
I've lived here 2006-2007... it doesn't have a 2007 option on the drop down menu We had a GREAT team of staff here for the last 9 months +. If you ever move into a community and Pam Teagarden or Michelle (in a ConAm Apt) is your Property Manager - you are in LUCK. They are friendly, very personable, they WILL know your name and they will get work orders done pronto. I have never submitted one that wasn't finished in 24 hours and never needed fixing again after 9 months. Our head maintainance guy, John is fabulous too! (and will generally also know your name - I have never had any quams about him or his team entering my apt to fix a thing). ALL of the residents I've spoken with were sad to see Pam & Michelle go. I don't quite know what it'll be like without them!! The apts are in good condition. I've never had or heard of pest problems. Bad points: The walls are THIN on the sides - pray for quiet & considerate neighbors... most are - screening is good. The windows are all metal & glass... they seap the cold air in & the hot air out. This sucks in winter when you're paying your own heat. Parking is marginal. There is onsite both covered and non-covered, but the rent is a bit pricey so few people pay for lot parking. I've never had to park more than a block a way... but still, that's not close. The size of the one bedrooms for the price is a bit high.... If you're splitting rent on a 2 bed then it's a great deal. The central areas, roof patios are fun to hang out on and get to know your neighbors or have a few friends over. The fitness room has a well picked minimum of equiptment: good free weights, eliptical, treadmill, a few weight-lifting machines... it saved me a gym membership & was super convenient. The neighborhood has a good deal of gay people - so if you're not ok with that then it's not the place for you. If you're looking for that or fine with that then you'll fit right in. They don't call the grocery store down the street Queen Soopers for nothing! The neighbors are generally friendly and very sweet people. The kind that would keep an eye out for you, loan you a some kitchen item or invite you to their drinks/chatting/card game if you said hello. Two Thumbs up aside from parking, window insulation & wall thinness! I sure as HECK hope they get some good staff in here because the last team got the property up to some great standards. |
