I am a current resident at 1135 Broadway Residence. I have been living in my apartment for 5 months now, and with in the 5 months that I have lived here my experience has not been such a good one. For starters, when I first moved into the apartments the garage door did not work until 3 months after I moved in. I basically cannot have any guest over because there’s nowhere to park. Broadway Residence said that if any guest wants to park in the garage that they have to pay a fee. My problem with this comes in when I work from 6am – 5pm, and all my friends know when I get out of work, and I find it ridicules that my friends and family have to call me ahead of time to make an appointment to visit me. They also require that the visiting person(s) have a parking decal to park in the garage. Well again I get out at 5pm and when I get home no one is ever in the office. Even if you call them and tell them that you will be in a little after 5pm no one is there. Broadway Residence also says that if you are parked in the garage with out proper authorization, that your vehicle will be towed with out notice. Well I for one can tell you that that does not apply for everyone. I had lost my parking decal and called the office to inform them that I did not have my parking decal and I left all of my information with them. I called the office at 3:45pm, and when I got home no one was in the office. The next morning I work up and my car was towed, I was forced to pay $200 to get my car out of towing because apparently Broadway Residence does not know how to check there messages. When I called the office a few days later the management told me that I was a liar and that they never received any messages from me. Talk about great customer service! Well a few weeks later I have a friend come visit me and stay the night. He parked his car in the garage and when he woke up the next morning there was a notice on his car telling him that he did not have authorization to park there and that he needed to move his car or he will be towed. Talk about treating everyone equal! For safety reasons, Broadway Residence requires that all guest be buzzed in through the front door. (For safety reasons) did you get that? Safety! At Broadway Residence you are able to walk in to any apartment that is locked with a credit card, however for your safety Broadway Residence is willing to put a deadbolt on your door by appointment only for $40. Man do I feel safe! In all I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Management is very rude not only to there residence but also to your guest. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy living in my apartment but the staff at Broadway Residence is not the kind of people that I would like to rent from any more. That’s why I’m moving out ASAP! |
